Bitcoin core cannot claim if Address is SegWit due to signing feature dysfunction. Any work around besides transferring to a new wallet?

Update: For anyone who also had Bitcoin core wallet with a SegWit address you will be unable to claim. Even a sweep or transfer to Electrum wallet will result in a new address that differs from your UTXO address at time of snapshot. This is a bummer, but will add a significant quantity of BTC remaining unclaimed. So unless someone has discovered a work around this is the reality since Bitcoin core wallet lost signing functionality at SegWit. Bitcoin core does not support Seed Phrase.
